A customer in high end framing and decorating business required e-commerce platform for it's new wholesale venture in furnishing and the fine arts. Besides the basic e-commerce support, the customer needed additional features which only Drupal with it's modularize customizations could accommodate within customer's fixed budget and urgency.

  • Primarily display of products catalog, sales channeling and user access security (no shopping cart)
  • Products and pricing from the legacy (SAP) system
  • Multiple currencies & multiple tiered pricing - retail price, members only price, wholesale and volume based pricing.
  • Secured access to sales and marketing documents for various user types along with administrative tools for role settings and access control
  • Customized catalog exploring and searching
  • Geo location maps to depict sales agents, wholesalers and retail shops
  • Flippable catalogs, product zooming, related and cross product selling support
  • Extensive web forms interface for common retailing work flow

Tips: 

Although the website is still a work in progress, all functionality is completed and can be tested. On the sign in screen, use 'demouser' for User and 'demopassword' for Password fields (without the quotation marks) to access the system forms.
